What started as a small lettings management business, operating from a back bedroom office at home, has grown into an established independent property business with a strong reputation across Barnsley, the Dearne Valley, Rotherham and Doncaster and SouthYorkshire
The story began when Roger and Jo Beecroft set out to manage a small portfolio of properties. In those early days, they did everything themselves. They worked tirelessly to establish the business, build relationships with landlords and tenants, and, most importantly, create a reputation for providing a service people could trust.
“The ethos was, we wanted to be an agent people could trust,” Jo explains.
That simple philosophy became the foundation of the business.
As the company grew and opportunities arose, the Beecroft brand was launched. The business moved from its home-based beginnings into its own high street office and expanded into property sales, creating a full-service estate and lettings agency.
In December 2016, the Mexborough sales and lettings office opened its doors, strengthening the company's presence within the local community.
Managed by Lynda Smith, the Mexborough team brings together extensive experience across sales, lettings, property management and business support. Lynda is supported by property managers Joanne Barson and Corinne Winfindale, administration support from Vicky Sykes and support from the Business Support Manager Julie Matthewman.

Julie Business Support Manager has worked in the industry for nearly 20 years and gained the Association Residential Letting Agents qualification, so you are definitely in safe hands.
