5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
It's super helpful having the co-op right across the road and there are a lot of bigger shops very close by, i.e. Argos, a big Sainsbury's, Pet's at Home, a JD Gym, a Boot Pharmacy etc. a short drive down the road. There is a really good coffee shop across the road too. Being so close to Cornbrook tram stop is one of the main reasons I choice the location. It's so easy to get anywhere quickly but you don't have to be living right in the middle of the city. Even if the tram is not working for some reason, it's not far at all to walk into the city. I work right in the North and it only takes me 35 minutes to walk. You can walk to Deansgate in around ten minutes but it still feels like you are in a quieter location. Parking availability if you don't live in the building is ok, there is no free parking spaces but it's not too expensive and most of the time there is space right outside the building. Otherwise there are quite a few spaces and other paid car parks a little further down the road. Bin collections are ok (but I've come from Birmingham which has had bin collection strikes for years). Recently bin collections have been worse and quite often some of the bins aren't in there when I go to throw things away because they are outside and haven't been picked up. Prior to the last couple of weeks I think it was really good. I find it really quiet on my side (the Ellesmere Street side) of the building. I think I've maybe heard someone shout in the street once but it wasn't a bad thing and it was so minor. The back way to the tram stop can be a bit creepy but you can just walk the main road way which is lit and busy and takes the same amount of time. I really really like living in the area.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
I've only really had issues with my dishwasher where the silicone bit on the door drops into the machine and then I can't shut the door but both times I've reported it, maintenance have responded really quickly and the second time the guy was like if this keeps happening we'll recommend they get you a new one, which was nice as it's a very small issue but does stop me using the machine, but luckily it's been fine since this time. Generally any "issue" or question I've had has been responded to same day which was really nice and stopped me getting stressed.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I think just the point that everyone is genuinely so friendly even if you just walk past someone you've never spoken to before in the building. It's generally a lot of youngish people so that's a nice vibe but then you occasionally get the odd family which is also nice because the kids are cute. I love that there are dogs literally everywhere. I honestly a few months ago bumped into a family with a maybe just post-uni son looking around the outside of the building and they were talking as if he was looking around places to live so I stopped and chatted with them and was like honestly it's so great living here it just feels like a really nice community. I also love that there are events although I don't manage to get to many of them but I would love to try to attend some more. I mostly just don't because of my job as I'm often working late and not able to get away. It is quite expensive which I'm finding difficult recently but you do get a lot for the price (and I also live alone in a two bed so that's sort of my own fault).

5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Pro:I have been living here past 10 months and I have truly gotten comfortable in this area. It’s close to the city centre yet away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre. There is a tram stop within 2 minutes walk. Grocery stores close by and asian and halal shops a few minutes walk from the property. Cons:If you are living on the road side of the building you could be having issues with the traffic sound (if the windows are open). Apart from that train station is not close by but 15-20mins walk if you like walking.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
It has been great every time and haven’t had any issues.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I didn’t know the building management organised events.
